CBSE CTET 2014: Results to be declared on March 21 at 6:30 PM

According to a recent conversation with CBSE CTET officials, India Today has discovered that the results for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2014 conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on February 16, 2014 are expected to be released on March 21, 2014 at 6:30 PM. The results for both exams Paper 1, the qualifying exam for teaching Classes I - V (Primary Stage) and Paper 2, the qualifying exam for teaching Classes VI -VIII (Elementary Stage) will be declared on the official website.
Ahead of the results, CBSE released both image copies of the OMR answer sheets and answer keys for the ease of the aspirants and to ensure transparency in the examination procedure. Answer keys are available for both for Paper I for: Code I, Code J, Code K and Code L and for Paper II for: Code M, Code N, Code O and Code P.
Candidates having attempted the CTET 2014 exam will be issued Marks Statement however only candidates scoring 60 per cent and above will receive the Eligibility Certificate. Schools can give concessions regarding percentage scored at their discretion, to persons belonging to special categories.
The CBSE provided CTET certificate is valid for a period of seven years but a candidate having qualified CTET may appear again to improve his/her score. Eligible candidates can retake the exam as often as desired; there is no restriction to number of attempts.
About CTET
The CTET is used to qualify candidates to teach Classes I - VIII at Central Government Schools (also Union Territory Schools). CTET scores are also considered by Private Schools as well as State Government aided Schools. Two papers are available under the CTET exam; Paper 1 qualifies you for teaching Classes I - V (Primary Stage) and Paper 2 qualifies you to teach Classes VI -VIII (Elementary Stage). Completing Both Papers is also an option, qualifying you to teach Classes I - VIII.
